WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL!!!! We are on our 2nd Semester and are getting ready for 2nd grade. The words are going to get harder and so is what they will be required to do in Math. Please make sure that your child is doing ALL of their homework. I will be checking that ALL the homework is completed by your child and for correctness.

Please make sure that your child is memorizing the "Hail Mary." They will need to know this by 2/9.

I am sending home the tickets for the Steak and Dinner Night fundraiser.

Report Cards will be sent home tomorrow, 1/9/18. Honor Roll will be announced tomorrow morning in the gym. You all are welcome to attend.

We will not have school on Monday, 2/15/18, for Martin Luther King, jr Day.

"Hail Mary" (before Mardi Gras): " Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen."

"Our Father" (before Easter): "Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our
trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen."

"Act of Contrition" (before the end of school): "O my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended Thee, and I detest all my sins because of Thy just punishments, but most of all because they offend Thee, my God, Who art all-good and deserving of all my love.
